So I sometimes use Eloqua's Progressive Profiling cloud component, rather than using my own progressive profiling script. The component works fine on Eloqua landing pages - or at least, it usually works fine.
Today I'm getting, in place of my progressively profiled form, "Server Error in '/V2' Application. Timeout expired. The timout perioud elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool."
This is not good - this form is being used live in production, and it's completely non-functional.
So two questions: is anyone else having problems with cloud components today?
And, bigger picture, why does this cloud component fail so ungracefully? Wouldn't it be better to place the regular, non-progressive-profiled form on the page? It might be a long form but at least it would work.
