SUMMARY:We are looking for a Marketing Automation/SalesForce Administrator who will take day-to-day responsibility for system administration, maintenance and configuration of the marketing automation system and its integration with SalesForce. The Marketing Automation/SalesForce Administrator will also be responsible for ensuring that marketing leads are properly assigned and tracked as they progress through SFDC.  This person will ensure that reporting accurately reflects lead progression through the various lead stages. They will also be a central player in current and planned SFDC and marketing automation projects as determined by Marketing management.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing Operations and Technology.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work with Marketing Automation Campaign Specialist to ensure the proper functioning of the marketing automation platform
  • Responsible for maintaining the demand generation, lead nurturing, lead scoring, and automated communications programs
  • Create list segments for campaigns and nurturing programs
  • Understand and maintain various API connections
  • Maintain documentation on lead routing and ownership rules in SFDC
  • Coordinate with SFDC developers to implement SFDC projects such as Live Agent and enhanced BI reporting
  • Maintain data quality of the email database--including list scrubbing and data enrichment/augmentation programs-to maximize the effectiveness of demand generation and lead management campaigns
  • Work with the Marketing team to interpret strategic objectives into efficient marketing initiatives through systems and processes

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years as a salesforce.com administrator
  • Minimum 2 years as a B2B email administrator (Preferably Eloqua, but Marketo or similar enterprise-level marketing automation platform would be acceptable)
  • Experience with email list hygiene and importation
  • Experience with a BI tool (Birst) a plus


DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Understanding of list and campaign-driven analytics
  • Database management expertise (segmentation, reporting and maintenance)
  • Multitasking
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • SQL query language
  • Excel
