Rally Software is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager with marketing automation (Eloqua preferred) expertise to join our outstanding Marketing Performance and Operations team. We support our Revenue Marketing teams to create and execute lead generation, nurturing and customer expansion campaigns.
We want a marketing ops master who is used to working in a team (web, creative, messaging) to align campaign objectives with execution. A 5+ year history of designing, launching, and tracking campaigns that nurture leads and engage prospects in a complex B2B buying cycle is required (show us your detailed program examples). You must not only track metrics, but interpret campaign performance and align with sales on meaningful KPI’s that inform and optimize our marketing mix of prospect, land and expand campaigns (show us your models and dashboards).
The Marketing Automation Manager will:
- Lead the creation and management of dashboards that trend campaign effectiveness, prospect engagement, and funnel advancement.
- Work with our demand generation manager s to model customer personas, engagement milestones, and buying cycles that shape our prospect, nurturing and expansion campaigns.
- Identify areas in the sales pipeline requiring additional marketing support.
- Understand closed loop reporting on campaign effectiveness, funnel movement and implement digital media campaigns including email, webinars, online ads, web site landing pages and whitepaper programs.
- Design and execute the “campaign launch” activity set including segmentation, list building, email management, data quality and reporting.
- Manage the Eloqua database, including data quality and troubleshooting
- Implement “trigger-based” nurturing programs in Eloqua that target all stages of prospect development, from cold nurtured leads to engagement to closed opportunities to expansion.
- Optimize click-through and conversion rates across our digital media campaign portfolio through A/B testing.
- Work with dynamic content for cross-promotion and targeting personas within single piece of content.
- Coordinate with our content team to build and maintaining a content library
- Train others on marketing automation systems and best practices
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in high-tech, B2B campaign design, integrated marketing and demand generation.
- 4+ years relevant marketing operations experience including 2+ yrs as an marketing automation admin. (Eloqua preferred, will consider experience in Marketo)
- Portfolio of successful automation programs, dashboards and models.
- CRM (SalesForce.com) - high level skills required.
- Content management system experience a plus
- College degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- High level of organization skill
- Strong writing, presentation and communication skills
